The photo, dated October 2012, was taken approximately 11 years before their marriage and two years before their first meeting.

“I am still in shock looking at this,” wrote Chia, 32, on Instagram in December, sharing the image from the theater café where her future husband, Jon Liddell, 33, can be seen in the background. Liddell, a singer and songwriter, appears to be in the ticket line in the photo.

“We were in the same place at that time, but we did not know of each other’s existence,” said Chia. She recalled that she officially met Liddell in December 2014, marrying in August 2023. “We met at the right time,” Chia reflected in her post, which has already garnered 452 thousand likes.

Chia, already known for her YouTube channel with over 90 thousand subscribers, previously dedicated herself to music, performing at festivals, weddings, and corporate events.

The almost magical story of the two captivated Chia’s Instagram followers. One mentioned the “invisible string theory,” referring to the belief that soulmates are connected by an invisible thread, an idea also explored in Taylor Swift‘s 2020 song “Invisible String.” “Isn’t it incredible to think that there was an invisible string connecting us all this time?” commented another fan, quoting Swift’s song lyrics.

The story of Chia and Liddell exemplifies how life’s paths can intersect in unexpected ways, leading to significant relationships and moments of pure coincidence that seem like they’re straight out of a movie script.
